Newly recorded tracks delayed behind the beat

I was in the middle of a session yesterday and had recorded about 7 vocal tracks over rhythm tracks, at 108 bpm. Everything was fine, and then the next vocal track recorded, although sounded fine while recording and monitoring through headphones, played back a fraction of a second behind the tempo. Low latency monitoring mode was engaged. I hadn't changed any other setting that I know of. I tested it again by recording just quarter note claps through the microphone and again, sounded fine while recording, but plays back delayed. I opened a new session and tested it there and it is fine, so whatever the issue is, it's particular to that session. Any ideas?

Whenever PT gets weird, trashing prefs often helps. Or close and reopen Protools.

Have you checked the latency/delay on each track? Do you have any plug ins that incur latency/delay inserted into any track?

My Pro Tools isn't open right now but I think the key command is Apple+click on the volume in the channel to switch from volume to pan to delay.

I would also trash the Digidesign database folder on the record volume. I remember having this same problem somewhere around v6.4... You may want to consider an update in your future.

Thanks! I'll check these suggestions out! Really appreciate it! Yes, and an upgrade for both PT and Mac OS, which I'm running 10.3.9. Sounds like OS 10.5 and PT 8 are both around the corner
