Cross-fades on songs w/ Redbook
Hey, everyone. Can anyone gige me some insight on how to cross-fade between two songs and put a redbook marker as the second song fades in? Ive tried bouncing the two halves then Settin Toast to disk-at-once, but there is always an audible pop on the fade. Should I just drop the cash on MasterList CD?
Thanks, all. Esteban

Re: Cross-fades on songs w/ Redbook
Esteban,
I'm not sure if this is the most efficient method but this is what I do: I compile all my tracks in PT, crossfade and beat match, and then bounce the entire mix. I bring the mix back in and cut sections to where I want track boundaries to be. I then export each section as files which I then load up into Toast. In Toast, I set the track gaps to zero seconds, except for track one. Hope this helps! Francis |
