control pro tools with m audio Axiom 61 is WORKING

Great
The faders work, the transport bar, and mute. Jubiii....
But where do i find the parameter ....................to control solo, pan, loop, ect.
There must be a site where every parameter is written to every function in pro tools.
like fader 1 ( CC 40h, with range 7Fh) convertet to (cc 64 level 127 for channel 1, cc 65 for channel 2 etc.)
It's very easy to convert from hex to decimal using the web site www.geocities.com/binary_converter. Hex 40 is 64 in decimal, and 7F is 127, the maximum value for a CC message. (M audio keyboard use decimal and not hex.)
So this work and I can find the mute parameter - these are allso written at Digidesign site, but where can I find the rest ?

Yes I know i can buy a command 8 controller, but this is funny and working, most of it.

How did you get your Axiom to control ProTools?

I did it using the Legacy MIDI Controllers: http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...51&itemid=4796

I then programmed my Axiom with the values given in this .pdf: http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...id=25941&eid=0

rember to use channel 16 this is default.
use JL Cooper CS-10 in Pro Tools as midi controller
write your program nr. in egnima editor and upload your keyboard from there.
remember to recall your preset in Axiom after upload.

Hey guys... I've just gotten an Axiom 61 for Christmas from my wife... I love the basic MIDI features on it for things like Reason and Xpand! - but still want the machine controls in ProTools and using the information you've posted here I'm close - but I'm still not triggering the transport buttons in ProTools or the faders...

Can you give me some more specific directions here? (I'm using XP Pro on a Compaq 3GHz machine).

nossnevs, I tried to download your preset but it returned a file not found on your website... anychance I can get you to repost?

How are you guys connecting, pure MIDI I/O or MIDI via USB?

I'm using the JL Cooper CS-10 controller setting...

Read that .pdf I posted and the Axiom manual.

It is easy to edit any button on the Axiom to transmit any MIDI number you want. Just set the record button to transmit the number for record, etc.
