Default SoundReplacer Help!

Hi Everyone,
So I'm trying to use SoundReplacer (on my PT LE 6.4 on the 001 running XP) to spice up my drum tracks for the first time and I'm having an issue. Here is what I'm doing....tell me if I'm doing something wrong:

1) Highlight bad kick drum track
2) Open SoundReplacer as an AudioSuite plug-in (not an insert)
3) Click Update...now my bad kick track appears in the window
4) Click one of the little disk icons to import the kick sample I want, which is on my desktop as a .wav file.
5) I select "process" or whatever the button is
6) When the new track is finished processing, the track that I highlight is now blank....just a straight line running through. No waveform or anything.

Am I missing something? Also, the sliders don't seem to be responding.

This is for a metal song (lots of double kick patterns) so I'd REALLY like to avoid manually placing each sample. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to drag the slider on the left hand side down.
start with the furthest to the left and drag it down until your kick hits start making red lines, When all your hits are selected, hit process.
if you don't read the manual, start with this and you'll get the hang of it.
