Quits during startup w/2496 - Avid Pro Audio Community

Quits during startup w/2496

Pro Tools MP7 (6.8r2 as well) quits during it's load up sequence. The PT MP window comes up, starts loading then just quits-no error messages.
I'm using an Audiophile2496, G5 2.7 dual, 2GB ram, OS10.4.3 (Had the same problem with 10.4.2)
Digital Perf.4.61 runs just fine.

HELP!
