extracting CD fx to PT to Audiovision
Hi all,
I'm going to cut a TV feature on Audiovision. I spotted the FX from VHS and looked them up in my CD library database. Now I have a list of all the fx and would like to extract them in my powerbook, name and edit them in PT Powermix and take them over to Audiovision. Of course I would like the Audiovision import to run as smoothly as possible. Up to now I used to drag the split stereo files into the Audiovision timeline one by one and creating from the aligned stereo file a new subclip -that was ok then because there weren't too many files. This time I would like to have a l l my CD fx already digitized before moving to Audiovision. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Thanx Tom |

Re: extracting CD fx to PT to Audiovision
You need Gallery Software's Sample Search software. You can do all the, extracting, rough editing, and conversion to whatever format you want. It makes "bins" for pro tools users. I believe it's http://www.gallery.co.uk/
Good luck. |
