Midi not registering in velocity meter
Alright, I configured my midi drum machine as in the manual on my MAC iBook G4. Testing within the Mac Midi Device Setup is successful. Next, I create new instrument track assigning the midi instrument that appears = the device I configured in my laptop. I play the machine and it registers in the volume meter, so far so good. Next, I record enable (MIDI thru is checked) and nothing lights up on the velocity meter as well as when I record and hit wait for 1st note it never starts indicating it is not recieving the first note. If everything is going so well why the *&@$ is it not recording midi data? I can record audio data by the way.

Re: Midi not registering in velocity meter
New problem! The velocity meter still doesn't respond...and the program freezes when I hit record enable and record. I have no problem recording drum patterns from midi machine in audio track but I'd like more control over indvidual triggers. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.
