Anyone using Alesis Adat
Hi anyone using adat to convert analog to digital and viceversa? im having problems when i arm all adat channels i get noise only on the master fader not on individual channels , its only audiable when really loud but does add to overall noise. Any sugestions.

What is the 'meter' on your master fader doing?... If you're leaving all the tracks' faders set at 0db and they all have loud signals on them...add them all together and you're going to clip the signal at the master fader. select the "All" group and bring down all the faders together to a level that won't clip the master fader.

its only a low level noise signal on the master vu the more adat channels armed the more noise. its only audiable at loud volume levels i tried on an equal system and the same problem ,is this an adat thing, i can record like this perhaps im just bitching over nothing really but it shouldnt be... right?

do you have pro tools slaved to the adat clock?.. (Sync External) .......is it a click type noise or a hiss?
