According to Alesis, the HD24 simulates three ADATs when used with the BRC. They claim drop-in replacement.
The 10BT connection is for ftp file transfer to another workstation or DAW (such as one running PT. It will convert it's own file format to aiff and you just do an ftp "get". Now assigning the IP address or DHCP parameters to the HD24 might be interesting...  ------------------ LW

Before everyone gets too excited about this product, word on the street is that Alesis went bankrupt a few weeks ago. What happens to their product line is uknown to me. Don't flame me, but I got it from a trustworthy source!
