After only 2 months my subscription ended!!!!

Time Period: Jul 21, 2015 - to - Jul 20, 2016

Instead to pay 99 Dlls, I have to pay 299 Dlls, $199.00 more for 12.6 with all Bugs that I read in the Duc. I think is not Good Idea, I don't understand why the Difference for only Two months!! Actually I have 12.5.2, Was my last Version on my Subscription.... So, someone from Avid can tell me or Explain to me why??

Just to clarify, are you talking about Subscription or the Upgrade and Support Plan?

If you have a perpetual license and you let that license lapse, you are subject to a penalty in order to get current. Otherwise it would not be fair to those who keep paying for updates.

This is all mentioned in the FAQ's of the license agreement.

I guess if you let it lapse, the grace period of 30 days (I believe) expires. How'd you miss renewing on time?

Why not fair??

The guys, that stay on plan, can work with the excellent updates and new features, Avid very diligently brings to ProTools.
The other user must work with an old buggy version

Well, Two things here, First, I don't read license agreement!!! and Second: I don't Trust on AVID, So I just let past time... !!! Without imagine this Situation!!! Just Like That!!!

No matter what we think of the new licensing scheme you just answered your own question. Not reading the agreement ..

What does not trusting Avid have to do with a lapsed plan?

This is on you my friend and I do know how you feel but this new Avid direction is what it is and we can just keep using PT or leave for another DAW ..

I don't trust in AVID, Pro Tools is an Universal Music Production, You know, I know, Everybody Know it.

But at the same Time, Pro Tools is a unstable System too, You Know and Everybody ......... You want another Reason....Bugs Bugs Bugs Bugs and I can spend many Hours a Day Working on a Session or Project, and at lest have 3 Crashes....For bugs!!!!

When AVID say... Reinstate!!!! 299 Dlls just for Have many few new features on every New Update for Pro Tools, Is like a pay 499 Dlls just for Oil change in your car dealer!!!! and of course!!! Is a new bunch of Bugs we obtained!!

So Do you Trust in Avid!!!! because in the Rush to release some New 12.6 without check if is Really to be Released!!!

That happend When like I said. When AVID just Released 7 to 7.4 or new Version 8, at that time it is not paid annually.
