Default PT 12.4 Delay Compensation failure

In the studio, where I work, a Protools HDX 12.4 is installed.
Unfortunately the delay Compensation quite often fails, especially with use of UAD plug ins
Anybody has an idea, what the reason could be?

thanks

Mr.O

Probably the old combining Avid DSP with "Native", which uad effectively is, to Pro Tools, on the same paths. PT has to do complicated routing when this combination arises.

Have tried moving them off the same path?

One old school rule that still applies is keep the Native ones on the top - don't intermix native and DSP. I always use "Native North" as a reminder to keep them grouped above the DSP. I have HDX and just did a film mix with great results - including no problems with delay compensation.

Helpful thread. I do find it with UAD instances but was also messing with HDX as inserts.

Will try this. thanks
