Default Low latency monitoring 11.3.2

Hi guys,

I am using PT HD native 11.3.2 on OSX 10.8.5 and want to use Low Latency Monitoring again

but this isnīt working anymore
I already checked the manual and the I/O setup to engage the button and
select the output - no way!

Itīs ridiculous: At any update bugs are fixed, other bugs are introduced - and
that should be the industry standard DAW?

By the way: The Midi bug with the sustain pedal isnīt fixed yet - we are
telling them for years now - nothing happens.

a really unhappy

Mr.O
you are using Native HD ... so the system should be running HD software and the HDnative card (or ThunderBolt box) will provide Low Latency automatically .. the Vanilla Version is the one with the Low Latency in the PT Menu ..

i have not had an HD system since HD 8 so if i am incorrect .. someone will come along with HD native to correct me ..

so just record

i believe this is correct though ... cheers john

No he is right there is a LLM monitoring path for the native systems.

I am just not sure what he believes is the problem

Hi,

the problem is, you canīt hear anything

you can see, the track is recording, see the waveform, but at the output
selected in the I(O setup there is no signal
this means, the low latency output is correctly routed to the selected
output, but this connection in obviously broken
Or am I overseeing something?

hey

Mr.O

You are correct. This doesn't work for me either as described. I don't notice b/c I am running everything thru the bus, along with separate HP mixes as well.

I don't know if that's the work around or not but it works for me like that....

but yes with LLM engaged and direct out to the LLM path....you are not able to monitor the signal.

Just a comment from my experience - HD Native, TB box, Omni. If I select the LLM menu option the headphone output of the Thunderbolt box does not pass audio for the tracks in record. However, the headphone output of the Omni does correctly go into LLM.

I don't own an omni, yet.....

If it's easier for Avid to mail me a free one than to fix it so it works with my HDi/o.... Well let's just say I understand
