Using mBox2 as midi input for Finlale hyperscribe

Hello. I'm using a digital piano to send midi info to my mBox2 (connected to my PC via USB) and have Finale open. I'm trying to use the 'hyperscribe' option in Finale (which lets me 'play in' notes in real time) but Finale is not seeing the signal. Does anyone have any ideas that could help? Thanks!
