Default Pro Tools 11 Need new conform software

Gang,

Our post audio team has historically used TITAN conforming software for our Original programming interstitial s, but it seems that the folks over at Syncro Arts have gone radio silent as to their plans to update the TITAN software for use in MAC OS 10, 11, etc...

Any recommendations BESIDES EdiLoad?

Curious why not EdiLoad? You can contact me off list if you would rather not say publicly.

assemblerator is discontinued.
we have better options these days with the PT field recorder features.
there are times when you need this kind of solution but they are so rare now that it's not worth trying to keep that code current.

Justin, how would you go about using the PT Field Recorder options with an EDL or XML? Still need additional software?

EdiLoad can import and clean EDLs and export a "conform reference track" within a PT session that the PT Field Recorder function can use to assemble the location files.

Mark

Thanks for that. Any chance it will ever work with XMLs from PPro or FCP X?

Hi Tom,

High on the to do list for EdiLoad is adding the option to import XMLs. If you have any example XMLs (along with associated EDLs) you can send me for PPro or FCP X that would be a great help. You can send via our support page.

Thanks,

Mark

I think the OP isn't talking about conforming field recorder tracks. For that you could actually use PT's on-board features. Saves a huge amount of time compared to EDL workflows (unless of course you HAVE to use EDLs) hence the decline of Titan I guess.

I think the OP is trying to conform finished mixes to different programming structure.
