Default Bit Depth Issues in PT10.2 OSX

Anyone come across this problem.

We are track laying a series for the BBC. They are on version 8 of PT and we are on PT10.2. We have recently upgraded all our systems apart from one just for any compatibility issues that may arise that we can fix before delivery. We have upgraded our Soundminer to v4.3. During the installs one of our systems that we use for track laying dialogue would not export to version 7-9. It kept on crashing during export. We found out that we forgot to change the bit depth to 24 bit in Soundminer. It was set to 16bit. All is fine when working in PT10 but when we try to "save copy in" protools 7-9 it keeps crashing. It would not change the bit depth.

Anyone else had this issue?

Workaround was to find the 16 bit files in the session and consolidate the audio as new files.

Try importing session data into a new PT10 session with the Force to Target Session format option selected in the Media options.

But no not had that issue specifically.

When you coming to town?

Well forcing media to target format didn't work. Avid can you chime in here? It could be a soundminer issue
