ProTools/Logic /digiserial port

A question regarding ProTools/Logic Hardware compatibility
I recently had to transfer a logic session from one studio to another
..the original studio had a rather modest TDM setup that included a G3
with modem and printer ports ..the second studio had been set up such
that timecode was being received by the computer from the digiserial
input on the Mix core card.This particular computer had no ADBb modem or printer port.My problem is that none of the Audio prefs in
Logic showed any options other than modem or printer port even though
protools show modem ,printer or digiserial port? Do you know how to get
around this ..and if not do you know of a logic users group I could
submit my question too ..thanks in advance Peter D

The digiserial port is not a general serial port. It can only be used by the USD and ProTools. So logic will never see it.
