Exporting Single MIDI Track
Hello, all!
I want to export a single MIDI track from a project. I "solo" it, then go File-> Export MIDI, select "Format-0", click "O.K." When I import the file into anoter DAW, I see four tracks, none of which is the track I soloed. HELP!!

Re: Exporting Single MIDI Track
Region Mute all tracks but the desired exported track.

Re: Exporting Single MIDI Track
Mute all MIDI/Instrument tracks you don't want included in the export.

Re: Exporting Single MIDI Track
Thanx! I thought soloing had the same effect. Hmmm! *scratch chin*

Re: Exporting Single MIDI Track
Yeah, it's counterintuitive. But it gets worse. If you have hidden and/or deactivated tracks in your session, you have to mute those too.

Meanwhile, while waiting for the responsses, I imported the original file into Logic, and did the project there. Sweet!
