Default Keeping your tracks sync\'d and tight

Hello,

I've noticed my session isn't sync'd properly. I am aware that if you ctrl click on the volume indicator you can determine plugin induced delays. I use midi track offsets and nudge audio regions to compensate for these delays.

I also have a -256 sample global midi track offset because I have my buffer at 256.

However it sounds to me like my audio tracks are a little bit ahead of my aux inputs. Should I be compensating for the delay it takes to send a midi message to my midi gear?

Is there anything else I might be missing?

Thanks,
-Matt

Default Re: Keeping your tracks sync\'d and tight

So now I'm recording some audio out of my sampler, and I don't have any individual midi track offsets set up, just a global one that matches my (-)buffer setting, and I notice the audio is getting recording a bit earlier than the midi notes. What gives?
