Is the external drive USB or firewire?

If it's USB, the transfer speeds might not be fast enough, even though the hard drive is. Is it's firewire, I got no idea

I had that error when I was running my G4 with a glyph netdrive, I increased the DAE to level 4 and it took care of it for the most part.

Hi All,

I get the same error message in Windows XP. It is HPXW8000 Tower Dual Xeon Box. The Harddisk is internal drive only. I tried increasing the buffer size and all the other settings; Splitting the audio tracks across multiple partitions; But still I get the same Error message; The only thing is that the total session files/folder size is 2.7 GB. Earlier it was working fine with more than 3 GB. But nowadays, it is not working. I did defragmentation; Switched off the computer; Restarted after few minutes; I increased virtual memory too. Also I created 5 GB free space in each partition.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in Advance
