These guys seem to have a clearer pricing structure if you use the drop down box.

Look at the price for HD9 to HD10!
This is so that hardware exchange would seem like a very good idea instead of just buying the upgrade

I'd want CLA to mix my projects for me for that price lol

IMS is not to be outdone by the Euros in the gun jumping.

Well thats good news that Avid will be SLOWLY phasing out RTAS and TDM, but they are still in PT10... it would be suicide if they weren't. Sounds ok to me, as I think I will be able to take my time and upgrade when I feel I'm ready. I must say though, I will miss TDM, 10 years with it now.

AAX is still going to be a DSP hosted plugin, from what I understand. It sounds like they just made a format that can run either native or card-based. Makes sense to me.

I have a feeling the new cards will make a lot of people say "good riddance" to TDM cards.

Still can't understand why the HD Upgrade is so steep in comparison to the regular version of the ProTools. There has to be something involving the hardware...

No mention of 64 bit in any of the ads. Hopefully it's an oversight. It would be incredibly unresponsive to user's requests to release it otherwise.

It stands to reason that with the new "ram disk" feature... PT10 won't be 64-bit yet. I guess 64-bit is more like PT11.

If it doesn't, then it's really PT9.5 as far as I'm concerned
