Default studio desks

Does anyone know a good website/manufacturer of Studio Desks and furniture. I am going to build myself a custom desk, but i'm trying to find a place with some good pictures of various setups to give me ideas. i also have someone else helping me, and i want to give them a good visual about what i am thinking of.

I agree Mark,
I saw one at Mars Music yesterday that I wanted, but it was the last one and it was sold already. Great designs.

Also check out www.argosyconsoles.com ;they seem to have models specifically designed for several consoles (Sony DMX R100, Pro control, ecc..).

I went your route looking for pictures too. It seems that everyone has different styles for setup. Also, the pre-made stuff for music is WAY OVER PRICED.

Do yourself a favor and go to Staples or OfficeMax. Take a look at what they have.

I just got a desk from Staples on sale for $159 from $200. It has two little shelves just perfect to hold monitors (strong enough to hold my Mackie 824's). It also has a shelf to hold the PC monitor. I put my 71 key QS7.1 on the main desk and the pullout keyboard tray can hold the CS-10 faders, pc keyboard, and mouse (although it is really tight). Under the monitors is enough room to squeeze a Mackie 1202 or equivalent.

They have two models that are very similar. The one that is more expensive it built a little better and has a little more room.

This sounds crazy but I just built myself a couple of 18 space studio racks and then used a solid wood door for the desktop and it works great.

I you could also use kitchen countertops if you want too. Just walk around Home Depot some afternoon and let your imagination run wild.
