What\'s a good mic pre amp for digital recording?
Hi,
I am looking to record vocals onto ProTools and wanted to take a poll of what people thought were good mic pre amps. I haven't done much research yet, although I have some professional recording experience and know that if I were to spend $1,000 I might get a Neve strip. I'd like to see what pre-amps are good that cost less and might still give a nice warm tone. So far the Focusrite Voicemaster looks interesting. But maybe their are some units in the $300-500 range that I don't know about. Thanks for your help |
