Media Composer 5 - Mojo requirements?
I have MC 4.05
Should I upgrade, will MC 5 run with my analogue mojo? - can't find this on the new Avid Quagmire - whoops website - despite vigorous searching. cheers

Re: Media Composer 5 - Mojo requirements?
I haven't upgraded but I am sure it does. How could it NOT?
edit: I was just searching the avid site and now I see what you mean. NO mention of anything NON-DX. But really, how could they drop the original MOJO if MOJO DX is supported? No way. That would not be very friendly at a time when customers are incredibly afraid of taking a hit. |

Re: Media Composer 5 - Mojo requirements?
Hi,
Analog Mojo is not officially supported with MC 5, but my understanding is that it has not been blocked so it should work. However, use at your own risk. Jordan Glasgow Product Manager, Pro Tools Avid |

Re: Media Composer 5 - Mojo requirements?
Have a look at:
http://shop.avid.com/store/product.d...06834737176848 click on "System Requirements" and there are links to pdfs for mac and pc on compatibility. Really depends on your cpu, but only mac has explicit notice of continued support for the analogue mojo on some machines. The PC side either says "not supported" or just ignores it as a peripheral completely. Announcing this 3 days before a major new software release was not very nice, Avid. I'm sure you won't do it again now you know. Rob |

Re: Media Composer 5 - Mojo requirements?
I have a dual dual 3ghz xeon, which doesn't mention analogue mojo.
The only mention I could see was on the nehelem processors, bummer!
