Default Bombfactory challenge answer?

Ok, I just got the Bombfactory Plug-ins package. Now you know when you get a plug-in it has that card that comes with it that has the answer to the authorization challenge right? Well, my answer is wrong! I've tried to contact Bombfactory but hold time is a bitch! Anybody know a way around this thing? I just paid a nice amount of money for this **** and I can't even use it!

HELLLLLLLP!!!!!!!

From their Support section at www.bombfactory.com under "Problems with Challenge/Response Codes

The challenge or response code doesn't work.
The challenge and/or response codes must be entered exactly for them to function. Take a 30 second break and then try again--chances are you'll notice the error. "

Now this may or may not be the problem, but make sure you are entering the response with all of the spaces, case sensitive, the letter "O" instead of zero, etc.

They also have a web-based authorization process that they custom built that works very well. Click on "Authorization Request Form" in the Support section for an online challenge/response authorization.

Otherwise, shoot them an email at [email protected]

There might be someone monitoring email before Monday, but I don't think you'll get phone support outside of office hours.

There is no such card included with the "Bombfactory Plug-ins package." (In fact, there is no such package--all products are available separately.)

Unlike serial numbers, Challenge Codes/Responses are NEVER included on a "card" with any plug-in. The Challenge is generated by the software; it's different for every computer. So obviously we couldn't print it on a card, even if we wanted to.

Perhaps you understand how someone could get the impression that you may be a thief?

'andrewavers' next wild allegation:
>> "I've tried to contact Bombfactory but hold time is a bitch!"

There is no phone tree/hold system at Bomb Factory. We get about ten calls a week, most asking for product information.

Perhaps you understand how someone could get the impression that not only are you a thief, you are a liar, too?

'andrewavers', on a roll, continues:
>> I just paid a nice amount of money for this **** and I can't even use it!

Bomb Factory's "****" runs immediately out of the box for 15 days (the full product) before requiring any authorization. You can use it immediately.

Likewise, if you ever have any authorization problem--or just want to use the stuff for a week at a studio or a friend's house--you take your proof of purchase code to the website and get a 10 day auth yourself, no questions asked.

Perhaps you understand how someone could get the impression that not only are you a thief, you are a liar, and maybe even guilty of defamation, too?

'andrewavers' seals his fate with:
>> Anybody know a way around this [copy protection]? HELLLLLLLP!!!!!!!

Cracks and hacks are a fact of life for any software company. But when someone badmouths a company in order to get 'em, it's WAY over the line.

Email piracy reports to [email protected]. Help us put these idiots in their place.

Erik is known for his STRONG views against piracy (can't say I blame him for that). However, I'd bet he would be glad to refund your money if you only supplied him with the date of purchase and "dealer" who supplied you with the software. An email address or URL would be sufficient, I'm sure.

Note this was andrewavers first (and last?) post here...

I just finished trying their 10 day demo package myself. Unfortunately the two compressor emulators( LA-2A and 1176) did nothing for me. The Sans Amp was pretty cool but I have a POD Pro so nix that one. I'd be curious to know how others on the list like them. Anyone have good results from the compressors?
