PT HD 12.5.1 Cant play DNxHD QT !!!! WTF !!!

So looks like an OSX issue rather than a ProTools issue

Graphic Card : Nvidia GTX680
VideoOutput via Graphic Card (Fullscreen) or via Decklink Intensity HDMI
...both outputs same effect with theese Files ,
Video Hardware enabled or not , no difference
ProRes codecs work fine btw

GPU is enabled , Avid PE and LE codecs reinstall , no difference

Yeah the new Quicktime player is utter garbage. I still use QT7 Pro to play and convert all my video files. Even the "Get Info" window in the new quicktime is completely useless... it doesn't show anything in there AT ALL. Want to know how many audio channels there are or what format? NOPE. Anyway, I digress.

Not sure what the issue is, and since the files playback on your PT10 system, I can only guess that it's a corrupt preference or something of that nature. I assume you've done the full sweep/clean up routine?

there seem indeed problems within the videofiles...
when opening theese files in PT10 and use "Bounce to QT Movie"
for a small part of the video , i can play this from PT10 (via QT i assume) exported Video in PT12 ... but not the original file , even it has the same settings..

go figure
