No, NVIDIA GT630.
But a ton of people have confirmed that turning off GPU has made their VE errors go away entirely on various other setups, so it's not just me.

But it's super-easy for everyone to try. Just one toggle in PT prefs.

Thank you very much for all your input. The reason i asked was to gather input from post mixers who work with video all the time and use avid's engine on m1/m2 processors. I am not expecting miracles from Avid. It's a miracle Pro Tools work at all, considering it's complexity....

Frank, thanks for the tip. I Turned off "Enable GPU" in Preferences finishing the current project and so far, i do not see any errors!
I am on Mojave , with mac pro 5,1 and RX560 (MSI) Gfx card.

Q does this mean anything with a New Mac Studio Ultra? Type says GPU and it's all stock from Apple. Just wondering if I need to do this.. I do get some movie bounce crashes occasionally. G

Of course we should all remember that the video engine is still an Intel process, even with the arm version of PT.

My tip was helping on the 5,1 Mac. I have since moved to a 14,8 and I have had GPU on since starting on it so I guess the fix for errors only works on the 5,1 Mac. That said, I've had zero video engine issues since moving to the 14,8 (the issues with the SNC HD set aside)

Frank.
