Elaborated: Custom Organize Plugins Menu
The link is below for the feature, but rather than just ask for it, I thought I should go into the detail as to "how" organizing your plugins would work.
If you would like this feature, please support it. The Details The plugin layout would be done with an Avid Standalone Application on the desktop (before loading Pro Tools) where the user can setup folders, sub-folders and place all the plugins into the desired place. The setup would be saved as "User" or "Custom". Then launch Pro Tools, and in preferences, under plugin sort order, you can choose organize by 'Type', 'Manufacturer', Both or 'User' (Custom). The user would only need to set the plugin order once to Custom. After that, any changes made outside of Pro Tools in the Standalone Avid Plugin Application would automatically be applied when they lauch Pro Tools. Any newly installed plugins that have not been sorted, would go into a New Folder called "un-sorted plugins" that Pro Tools would create at the bottom on the plugin menu, indicating that the user has not sorted these out yet, so they are left "un-sorted". If the user wants to go back to the original layout, they can open preferences and select by "Type" or Manufacturer again and it would go back to normal. If the user wants to Reset and start their layout again, they can launch the Standalone Avid Plugin Application, select "Reset" and start over again, setting up folders, sub-folders and so on.
