Personally, I'd opt for the Vintech first and then add RNP's as needed... unless you REALLY need 4 channels of preamps RIGHT NOW. I have not personally tried the RNP yet, but a couple of friends have and reported that it's, well, really nice. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] But it's more along the lines of "clean / transparent" than colored (in a ULTRA COOL way) like the Vintech / Neve 1272's. BTW, I've had my Vintechs for some time now, and I STILL love 'em.
