Default text file

Hi
I'm using DigiRack 002 with a PowerMac G4 (s.o. Jaguar), when I launch ProTools 6.1.2 in my hard disk and in the external LaCie hard disk are created some empty text files wich named with alphanumeric code like for example :
"YcH5aW7Ev2Rk" or "DszdaeJDv2rk".
Someone can tell me why?
Thanks
