Yeah, I got started on it today. PT|HD2 Accel, 96 i/o, (and a 882|20 soon) on the 2.0GHZ model, 2GB RAM, 250 GB SATA. Software, including HD Pack install was flawless. Passed a little audio, tried a couple basic plug-ins. So far no problems. Obviously haven't put it to any real test yet. So far I'm liking the fact that the Mac Pro and the 96 i/o are so quiet sitting in the control room. I'm in the process of rewiring my room. Hope to finish it tomorrow. I'll post any updates.

Thanks DIGI! I was getting ready to Bootcamp WinXP and install PT on it till I saw the DIGI website this morning.

No PPC here. Are there that many users on the new machines already that PPC users are getting bypassed?

bypassing what? there's no new features here, just support for the new machines.

Regarding Boot Camp, I don't believe that would have worked as PCIe is yet to be supported by the Windows version of Pro Tools HD. Please correct me if I'm wrong, though!
