Recording midi in layers on one track
I'm probably not using correct terminology, but what I'm talking about is this.
Say I've got a midi track that I've recorded some drums on. Because I'm not a drummer, I'm not coordinated enough to tap out all the drum hits in one take. Can I record the basic drums to the track, then record some symbol splashes in another take to the same track without erasing the original take? Basically I'm just adding new midi info to what's already there. |
