Same weirdness here, MP 2013/Mojave/PT 2023.3.
Looks like it is tempo math thing: every tempo divisible with 60 stays even, all other tempos lack occassionally one tick.

Any news?

Has this been fixed?

Maybe a quick 2023.3.1 if there's a fix already?

This was reported over a month ago and it's still not fixed.
We should have had a ".1" release in a day or two at most.

Ditto here. Much though I'm a tad cheesed off that it is rude, I'm also extremely relieved it's not just me!

My current workaround is to set the grid and nudge to crotchets, find a dead-on OO bar and nudge along to the desired spot00

1. It doesn't always hold out long enough before going back to 959
2. It's hardly ideal!

It's not an issue for a great many things, but in those rare places where I'm doing something MIDI and tight, it's a tad frustrating.

I look forward to the fix...

The big question is whether this is actually screwing up our edits in all sessions saved during this release period, or is it purely a display problem ?

I seriously hope the latter.

Just a display problem. Though I don't think you should worry about your edits being messed up by 1 MIDI tick

Try dragging a MIDI or audio clip across the timeline and see if the green clip length indicator changes.
Hopefully not and it is just a visual.

I'm on a previous version so can't test.
