Default micing question

i have a real nasal sounding vox and i was wondering is there a certain way
to position the mic so i could reduce the nasal parts, or is there a plug
that would help reduce it maybe 30-40 percent?

Waves has a De-esser that can be adjusted all over the place so I bet that could be set to squash just the nasal range of frequencies. Experiment with different mics and position and you should be able to find a setup that helps. Maybe try singing slightly off to one side of the mic instead of straight on.

What mic and pre are you using? The sound starts there first.

it sounds like you bounced it at a low quality. As far as nasal goes, you should try a different mic. you could try rolling off some of hte mids or using a 1 band eq.
