Using 002 as Midi Interface in Standalone mode
I was just wondering if the 002 could be used as a Midi interface in Standalone mode. At the moment, I'm just trying to send .sys data from my computer to my Korg MS2000 keyboard. The programs that I am using to send and receive are the MS2000 Librarian and the SysEx Librarian.
In Audio Midi Setup, I setup the 002 to be connected to the MS2000 with both Midi In and Out connected. On the front panel of the 002, only the Midi In indicator lights up. When I try to send data from both programs, nothing happens. On the other hand, I also have an Edirol midi controller keyboard connected by USB. When I use the Edirol as the Midi interface, connected to the MS2000, I am able to send the data. Is there any way that I can do that thru my 002? Or are my midi outs possibly not working? It becomes a mess to keep disconnecting all these cables. Thanks, Pat Powerbook G4 10.3.8 Protools 6.9 |
