Default 7.4.1 with Leopard and Mac Pro (HarperTown) 2.8GHz Sync I/O?

Does anyone have any experience with the Sync I/O running under Leopard with 7.4.1 on the new Mac Pro (Harpertown) versions? I'm doing the upgrade next week and would love to avoid having to get the Sync HD since I don't really need the features and my Sync I/O works (worked). I know digi hasn't approved them yet, just curious if anyone has tried it.
