12.8 license [solved]
Hi, I'm on PT 12.5. an I want to update to 12.8.

If you have an active subscription and a valid license on your ilok you should be fine.
You can see that in your Avid account!

From 12.6 there was a licence update required. This was done in your ilok account. Have a look here.

thank you! PT 12.5 is/was my frist PT installation.
I tried to update to 12.6. some time ago and it did not work. drove me nuts so I reinstalled 12.5. I will try to install 12.8. - hope it works but it looks like nothing has changed in my ilok since then ... protools perpetual bundle ... deposit 28.9.2016 |

Installed 12.8. -> license not runing
is there a trick to refresh the license - pressed the "refresh" button in ilok 97 times |

did you move the license onto your iLok ?? in iLok manager .. if not it is in your account but not on your iLok .. make sense ??

I verified that the Release Limit date (Show Details in iLok License Manager) is set to authorize 12.8.
What's the exact error you are getting? Please reply with a screenshot if possible. What's the specific version of iLok License Manager you have installed? Thanks!

I updated the license manger on my offline computer and now it works!
Seems like the LM-versions on the online and offline computer have to be the exact same. Unfortunately i still get those 9173 error. I was hoping that 12.8. will fix that. |
