Recommendations for a stable Mac OS..?

Hey all,

I've been on Big Sur for a long while on my 2019 Mac Pro, and I have a bit of free time to do an OS upgrade, just to bring the system a bit more up to date.

Any feelings about a good one to aim at?

I've seen a few on here say that Ventura seems pretty stable with recent Protools versions.

Seems like OS updates are less of a nightmare in PT world than they were a few years ago..?

Ventura seems pretty stable. macOS upgrade fear nightmares have maybe switched back to Pro Tools upgrade fear nightmares.

Yes, now is the time to upgrade to Ventura as it is likely only getting minor security updates while waiting for Sonoma.

FWIW I have 2 identical Mac mini 2018 Intels except one runs on Big Sur and one on Ventura. The fans kick in a lot more on the Ventura model than the BS one. I certainly didn't see any improvements either. Big Sure was really stable for me.
