Uninstall PT 2021.3.1...how?

I mistakenly clicked on "deny access" to files on external devices when opening 2021.3.1 and since then I cannot start a new project, or pretty much anything. I just get this error message: "Could not create a new document because You do not have appropriate access privileges (1) while creating "ProTools" while creating "Untitled". "
I have tried to re-install but the request never comes up again, which means I have no access. I am assuming I have to delete/uninstall ALL PT files and do a clean re-install. Anybody have a solution to this problem?

#1-could you give LESS info? Seriously, we know absolutely nothing about your setup. Computer? Interface? What drive are you recording to?
#2-If you're running a Mac, can you restore privileges on that drive?
#3-re. uninstalling Pro Tools, I don't know that it will help, but it can't hurt, but make sure you also remove prefs and database files so you really get a fresh start

Sorry bout that. Late 2013 iMac 27”, 3.4 GHz quad-core, i5, 32 mb ram, recording to an external drive. But just getting started with 2021.3.1, trial period. Anyway, it resolved itself somehow, everything seems to be working now.
