Mainly fixed an issue with offline bounced Rerenders and ADMs that had clicks and dropouts with certain plugins.

This is new out, right? Odd naming if so. And also odd there's no release notes. And even odder - the Windows Zip is an invalid file here, cannot open it. Downloaded twice, file size circa 3.9gb is actually larger than the advertised 3.79gb.

Maybe this download shouldn't be live yet?

Got excited for a moment that drag and drop from the clip bin in windows was back. I do hope that gets a maintenance update, that feels like a broken core workflow to me, akin to a car not being able to turn left.

Not so odd naming.

Take a quarterly release almost for granted now. As in 03/06/09/12 releases, and if there is a later bugfix for a said release (which carries a dot zero number even if it does not show) it gets a dot increase even if it was released later than the original month. This has been mostly in place since 2020 though it took Avid some time to make complete sense with naming again.

You guys have forgotten the times of paid upgrades. Say you bought upgrade for PT6.4(.0) you got tested bugfixes as PT6.4.x and untested customer service releases (for very specific issues) as PT6.4CSy.

So nothing new here. The "paid upgrade" is now quarterly, and exclusively available for active support plan holders

Gotya - so if your support lapsed on Jan 1 you'd still get this update?

All the more reason to get a drag and drop maintenance update, it should go to everyone who was on 2023.12.

Anyone on Windows actually get the zip file to work?

Yes, since it’s technically a .1 hot fix for the 2023.12 release.

It should fix the issue with clicks and pops when bouncing re-renders with the Atmos renderer.

Is there a list of the plugins noted to cause an issue? If a track is low in volume, it could be hard to hear in a full mix that was constructed on a previous version of Pro Tools without clicks or dropouts.
