New Markers Bar

Without wishing to seem ungrateful, is it possible to revert to Classic Markers? It is just extra visual clutter that I don't need.

Which part of Classic Markers? Do you mean the Window or the lanes?

whyis it even in new markers, you cannot start a new line of text in COmments section of memory markers
tab to new line?

is it me or is that crazy you have to. just type it all in 1 line?

i want to do a bullet list, or whatever, Avid? anyone??

and ability to hide or move that new first column in Memory Locations.

You can hide the new marker rulers (as many as few as you want -- well, up to 5.)
It's in the same drop down menu as all the other hide/view of the rulers. (you can also rename them)

The column in the marker window is something different.
Or the search area in the marker window.
But the poster is using such generic terms I'm going to assume it's about the new rulers.

I just meant the floating window that was a simple click to locate, or select a section to bounce. It used to be perfect.

The problem with that is you now need that first column to select an area to bounce. It no longer works by holding shift and selecting 2 marker names.

I have never needed that capability. I always have a marker called "Mixdown Range" with only a time selection so that my mixdown is always my preferred exact length. Either way, it should be an option for all users, not forced on us.

man, it doesnt work for me either, holding shift. and choosing 2 markers, it used to select area, and i used it ALL THE TIME to bounce, at least 30 times a day

i am running Sonoma though, so not sure if this is specific to this "unsupported OS"
you running Ventura? can someone with Ventura try and report back?

I honestly don’t understand why so many people are thrown by this issue. Why do you want to do so much mouse clicking to make a selection between markers?

Use the numpad with shift to select between markers. .3., hold down shift, .4. Selection made.
