50 pin scsi
Hi.. I have an adaptec 2940 UW card and I would like to hook up a barracuda to the 50 pin narrow internal connector. I only wish to do 24 track sessions. Will this be adequate?
Thanks, jamie |

Re: 50 pin scsi
If the barrucuda drive is meant for the 50 pin scsi card. If the barrucuda is a fast drive (which I think it is) you will have to go to an Ultra Wide Scsi card. The best thing to do is check the drives specs. and see how many pins the drive has. This will tell you if you need Scsi or Ultra Scsi. Also with the specs. it will say if the drive is a narrow pin drive but there are different models of the barracuda. Hope this helps.
