Pt 12.6 won't work at all?

sooooo I updated pro tools 12.5.1 to pro tools 12.6.1.xx(whatever the latest is:) and now every time I try to start pro tools I get the ilok activation message . as far as I can tell my license is activated on my ilok. Pro tools won't start. any ideas??

Double check your iLok account. 12.6 needs new auths.

I am on an active annual license. Does new authhoraizations cost.?

I'd go to your Avid account, check that your still under active support (which it sounds as though you should be) then go to your iLok account and there will be a new PT12/11/10 ilok auth waiting for you. No cost.

Transfer the new ilok auth to your iLok2, it will ask you to surrender your older PT auth which is AOK. Complete the iLok bizzo and you should be good to go.

do not forget, like some other poor soul did .. to move your license to your iLok after you do the Surrender Mumbo Jumbo ..

You need to be on an active plan to use 12.6 and/or upgrade from 12.5 to 12.6 thats why I asked
