sync and time code
I'm new to doing audio for video and looking noob info. My church does audio (PT 48 tracks) and video capture (FC) and we send a two-mix up to video during capture. In past that has been fine since we didn't use the video a lot so what audio they had is good enough for the rough editing they did.
Now we are needed to do more with the video involving editing and laying in some of the 48-track audio we capture. So I need to start syncing during capture. We have an IO Sync and I need to learn how to setup up so cameras and FC will all be in sync. I searched the forum and didn't find much beginner info on the topic of sync and time code. Can someone point me to articles, book, or ??? Thanks.
