Default DIGI 002rack PT LE 7.0 MacG4 800MHz playback issue

Yesterday, I set up a new session as usual on my DIGI 002rack and I set up mics on drums and started to record. Everything sounded normal in the headphones, but upon playback my vintage ludwig kit sounded like a drum & bass song. The tracks were playing at hyper-speed and my snare sounded like a piccolo and my bass drum like a TR-808 drum machine. I know you can only choose the bit rate and sample rate when you set up a session, but it seems as if my record is normal, but my playback is at a different sample rate. I've tried recording at 44.1, 48 all at 24 bits, but the same problem occurs every time. I bought the DIGI 002 used about 10 months ago and it's worked fine until now. I purchased Pro Tools LE 7.0 off the digidesign.com website. Everything's been seamless until now. Need help.

Check all your clock settings. If you're not using any external digital devices for input it should be set to internal clock, and the samplerate should match the session.

You might also consider updating to a newer version. I've never trusted .0 versions of software myself, and I remember seeing a lot of threads on oddball problems around the time 7.0 was released.

With an 800mhz you might also consider reverting to an older stable version. Do you really need the update?
