Default 192's with HD IO's

Hey all!

I was under the impression you could mix and match the blue and later grey converters, but I had a severe clocking issue the last few days on temporary setup. I've done it with an OMNI and 192's with no problem, but in this case it didn't matter if the 192 was the first interface or last. System was HDX with 2 x HDio and a single 192. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks!
Sig

I would suspect a hardware failure as they really go together.

Cheapest thing you can try is swapping loop sync cables to new ones. If that does not work then different digilink cable/adapter. But the thing is, if 192 digital card is faulty it will not loop sync but can only work standalone. Luckily those replacement parts are dirt cheap 2nd hand.

I would also look at the loop sync cables. I ran 2x HD IO boxes and 2x 192 boxes for several years without a single issue.
