Default Optimising Offline Bounce Speed?

Hi all,

Silly question here but I'm losing my mind a bit and need some help. My offline bounce speed is averaging at 4.5x. This seems incredibly slow to me when I've just setup a mac pro (2019) with 16 cores and 96GB RAM. I'm running an HD Native Thunderbolt setup and Big Sur. I've tried all types of different cache sizes and buffer sizes, big mix sessions with tonnes off tracks and plugs, and tiny sessions with few tracks and it only really gets up to 10x on a small session.. just doesn't feel right.

Any advice on optimising offline bounce would be much appreciated.
