Can some one help me... (amplitube)

understand how the amplitube authorization works? Let me get this straight... I can purchase it for about $300, install it on my computer, register online, and that's it? The authorization is not transferable? So I either have to install in my studio or in my home computer? Someone explain to me how this is a good deal. I bet there are a few ways around this little trick, but quite honestly, I think IK is making a nice product, and I want to support it, that's why I want to buy it. But why should I have to come up with "tricks" to be able to use it at my home and at my studio? Someone please tell me the authorization is transferable. Any help would be greatly appreciated... (What ever happened to iLok?)

I have Sampletank and when I got my new P4 computer a couple of weeks ago I just went to IK's website and logged on to the user section where I was able to request a new authorization code. I received the new one via email within seconds.

Doesn't it work the same way with all of their products?

I'm not using ST on my old PIII anymore but it's still installed and authorized on that machine and now it's also installed and authorized on my new P4.
