Default Video to TV monitor

How do I send the video image to Tv monitor when working with the "Import Video and audio from other movie" I am using the HD2 but its a PT5.3.1. Can I use the fire wire to send the image to video deck? or do I need any other gear to work with.

Thanks

Are you working with a Mac or PC setup? On PC there's some triple head videocards that get the job done quite nicely.

You can even use a DV video-camera as a converter. Just make sure you have a model that allows recording from the digital in. Some consumer models have blocked that feature but I think you can get special cables that enable that on some cameras.

And your quicktime movie MUST be a DV-type movie. Therefore, you may need to convert it using Quicktime Pro if is not already that type.
