Focusrite Automation
Hi.
Just updated to 6.9 on a HD2 setup, Mac G4 Dual. 1.0 mhz. When my automation is supposed to change the highpass or lowpass On/Off on the focusrite D2 Eq. plugin, the playback stops for a second, turns the filter on/off, and then continues......! Pretty annoying. Same plug, same ilok, as in 6.7, but no problems then. Any ideas anyone??? Thanx |

Re: Focusrite Automation
Have you tried trashing preferences? If not, start there.

Re: Focusrite Automation
By "playback on/off" do you mean the transport actually stops, or the audio "burps?" If the latter, you might be accidentally automating to "black" instead of "grey" - if you look on the plug-in, "black" means the band is DSP-bypassed, which means the plug-in is using less DSP. You should never automate to or from "black" because it will cause this burp (this has been the case ever since the Focusrite D2 came out).
