protools crashes when loading plugin/bus

All was fine until I installed snowleopard and protools 8.0.3.

Now protools crashes after loading AIR plugins. Loading a bus/aux. (An acces violation occurred)
And I don't see any presets/text in plugins and startup window.

Before I worked with leopard, protools 7 and the mbox1 for years without problems.

Any idea? I ve been installing, re-installing etc for 2 days now.....

My specs:
macbook inter core duo
mbox2
snowleopard (10.6.2)

I have exactly to same problem, have you fixed it yet? If so how have you done it.

I've tried uninstalling - re installing, trashing prefs/settings, cache.

Are you using the 8.0.3 full installer or did you have a previous version of Pro Tools installed on this machine before upgrading to Snow Leopard?

Also, did you do a clean install of Snow Leopard or did you update over a previous OS?

Have you tried trashing preferences, testing from a new admin account and verifying that ALL installed plug-ins are compatible, per the info in the General Troubleshooting thread?
